Professor Robyn taught me one of the most essential courses for business students, Business Communication. Her approach to teaching was very hands on and interactive. She always created a safe encouraging environment, focusing on our positive traits and supporting us beyond our comfort zones which helped develop our confidence when approaching our career paths. She helped me develop my script for a Korean speech contest and because of her support, I won first place. As an introvert, I dramatically improved my public speaking skills under her guidance. Ultimately, implementing all what she taught me in a successful meeting with a South Korean Minister. Seeing the potential in me, she invited me to co-write a journal article published in South Korea. The process of working with her was very smooth and cooperative. I am glad to have worked with Professor Robyn as a co-author and a teacher.

Robyn Albers, is not only a professor but a human being with a kind heart and a passion for what she does. The moment I stepped into her classroom a few years ago, I knew, I would come out of it with more than the basic curriculum dictates. You understand the value and importance of an instructor who not only puts effort in achieving a perfect course outline, but also in leaving a little something with her students to take with them further down their lives. This was the case for Robyn, she instilled in us the value of hard work and that things definitely do not come to those who cannot put an effort to care. She reminded me of the importance of humble self-confidence, because we all have something special to give but sometimes are not confident enough to show it. Moreover, I genuinely developed my presentation skills with her guidance. She made sure to give us both positive support as well as constructive feedback on our areas of improvement. I genuinely appreciate professors who still have a passion for what they do and their students. In my opinion, passion and ability to inspire their students to not just follow A-Z but open their minds to think, explore and become interesting and intelligent human beings – is a core of what being in the educational field is. Thank you Robyn, for your intelligence and embodying all these amazing values as well as being a kind, understanding and wonderful human. I wish you nothing but the most amazing journey in life and whoever gets a chance to be in your class and part of your student circle, is most definitely a lucky one!

This course has been a major help to me. Within a week I have already learnt so much about business communication skills. Mrs. Albers teaches this course in a way that makes you excited and keen to be the best. She knows how to get a slight competition going between people in the class keeping students engaged. When we do extra work it doesn’t feel like it's extra because of the topics we can choose from. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone who wants to excel in school or at work!

I have been taking the ABC solutions course for a week now and have been enjoying and learning so much. I have been working on my note taking and organizational skills and it has taught me extremely valuable information that will come greatly handy in the future with school, work, etc. This course is perfect for any student that loves to learn and the teachers are always available to help and give structural feedback to help ensure everyone gets the most out of the course.
